About the Speaker

Anwar Jumabhoy is a product of many experiences. He has built drilling rigs, sold marine equipment, sold burgers, sold franchises, taught children’s gymnastics, computer skills, and managed a group of budget hotels. He has worked with two venture funds and invested in dozens of technology companies and coached the founders.

Anwar realized that coping with change was critical to survival and that “Entrepreneurs were not different people; they just did things differently”. This prompted him to co-author; 9 Entrepreneurisms: Management Practice for a VUCA World. In the book, the authors detail practices that can be adopted by leaders to make their organizations more agile and successful.
